It's been awhile. I'm now in the beginning stages of a Feasibility Study which will roll into a Pre-Schematic Design Phase. This basically means we, the architect, need to help the Museum define exactly what they want and determine how much it will cost. We'll end up giving them a few options at the end, everybody will get excited, and then they'll see the price tag and get a little freaked out...probably. I jusy hope that the project can stay alive afterwards. the Executive Director of the museum seems pretty driven and smart about the project so...we'll see.
During this process I'll also be interviewing consultants and reviewing our future contract.
Things were a little boring the week, just preparing schedules, crunching numbers, and reading reports. It should pick up next week.
